owner called me back and said they DO NOT take reservations and they DO NOT serve on the patio.  WTF?
so, in other words, try and be there by 6:30 or they wont seat us by 7:00.  Hope it's not too full.

BUMP.
it seems this place doesn't take reservations and no cigars or food on patio.  I suggest:
Wilhoits on main street.
what say you?

I know they have allowed cigars on the patio in the past. Haven't been in a while though. No food service on the patio either but you can haul out your own chips, salsa and ritas.  Wilhoites definitely caters to the American Iron crowd and has bikers there every night of the week.

Hum-pph  Lips Sealed  WTH?!?   I distinctly remember sitting on the patio of Esparza's swilling margaritas watching the world go by.  Come to think of it tho... don't think we had any food... jus' 'ritas.

Did I mention Esparza's make really good margaritas  Evil  bang head

Oh well, Willhoite's is also a winner!  [moto]

Yeah, I would.  There's at least three other good places on Main Street near Willhoite's within easy walking distance so we're not without choices once there.

Big Fish Restaurant on Main Street Grapevine just few storefronts from Wilhoites has an upstairs area for private parties. the manager there is named Mike and I think he had said that they were allowing cigars for private parties up there. This has been quite awhile ago and I dont know if rules/laws have changed. The place serves seafood and has a good bar but I will concede that the ritas at Esparzas are unmatched in potency.

Su won't be making it, and I'm in the truck today, but can pick up the bike after work and meet you at your place to ride down.

Well, hate to do this: I think this "cold" is actually bronchitis. I've been trying to shake it since Sunday. I guess flying down the freeway to work and home everyday on my Suzuki aint helping  Evil. Anyway, I'm trying to get better for this weekend and will not be able to make the meet....  Undecided

Bummer George. Hope you get to feeling better.
