I always called the '97 "Big Red".

That's what my dad named his last bike.

Mine, Black pregnant dog.

Wow, this thread has been going for a while.

Depending on my mood, it's "the fast one" or "the slow one".  Otherwise, the Duc is Daisy and the Beemer is the Big Dirty

I've had my S4R for more than 2 years, but just this month felt like I found a name for it.

I think of my bike as male. He's loud, dirty, intimidating, has a few scars, and talks me into being a hooligan. He's one of my best mates and we've stuck by each other's side through many grand adventures and scary moments.

I call him Sully.

As with cars, I can't see myself naming my bike. I just call it the bike.

Interestingly enough I'm the same way.  Though I have already posted here the names of my two bikes, I think I've also mentioned that they are never called by those names.  The naming of the bikes was more of a poetic formality for me, but never something I would actually say.

Everytime I see the subject line of this thread in my "Updated Topics" page, I want to answer...

"Yes, Ducati Monster S4RS Testastretta."
