DaddyDuc - New DFWMer wants a SBK

Welcome to DaddyDuc y'all. Some of you all saw and met DaddyDuc at the Chili Cook Off. He's an ex-Busa rider and is looking for a "special" SBK. He's got one spotted in Co. but needs some more options. At $12.5k (includes shipping to Tx.) a 999s w/$9k in mods LE "Parts" bike that has less than 2k on the speedo sounds pretty good for now. Does anyone here on the board have or know of a SBK along the lines of a '05+ 999s, 1098s for sale?
Does this sound good or no. The bike is spotlessly new.
Also, I heard that Derrick is no longer at AMS-D Sup w/dat?

Please help me welcome another new member to the forum, DaddyDuc and his new
YELLOW
'03 999.
The bike is barely broke in good and corners so smooth and sounds very cool with the full Termis. Various cf already installed,(note: cf turn signals and side panels @ induction)
DD graciously let me take it for a spin last night to get some feedback. Funny story bout the ride is that I went into dowtown FW and back on one of my favorite chicanes from I-30 westbound onto Tx Hwy 287 northbound on the 'Downtown' exit. Coming into downtown I cruised by 8.0 bar where all the hogs were feeding and decided to 'say hello' with a couple of pumps of the throttle. Next thing I hear in a loud angry tone was "F*@k You too!". I hope I didn't make him spill his beer all over his chopper machine thingy he was wrestling with. He couldn't seem to get it turned into the street very well for some reason.
Anyway, here's a link to some pics of the bike below. One question to those in the know is, is the stabilizer stock? It looks it.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Thanks for the welcome. I am loving the new ride. I thought my "BUSA" was bad but it is nothing compared to my yellow duc. I took it to Stuart for an evaluation and he seemed to like it. I will get the 6K mile service done via Stuart over spring break. He suggested tires to take full advantage of the ride. The previous owner never leaned over so the tires are flat in the middle. It makes for some hairy cornering.
