So, Tood, since it's Lesbetarian friendly, I'm assuming you'll be there?!? Grin

Article was in DFW Quick Thursday (p. 11) on the place, seems pretty cool.  If I didn't work near DFW, I'd be there...and do make the lesbians proud.   waytogo

Slag, Catie and I finished our mid-cities lunch early enough for me to stop by Jack's place but I could not find it. Drove up and down Commerce/Ft. Worth Ave and just plain missed it. Couldn't remember the map link exactly and had no ones phone number handy. Got home and looked at the map again and didn't realize it was on Pittman. I know where that is and drove by Pittman at least twice. Tongue Jack's must not be easily seen from Commerce... or at least not for me.

I did stop by AMS just to see if any of ya'll were there. Ghost town. You could hear the crickets. And I have never seen so many bikes on the floor. They had everything: 1098R, 1198, 1198S, two Desmosedicis, the new M1100, etc. and the Bayliss. Just not sure about the Bayliss... just does not float my boat. You'd think it would say Xerox on it somewhere?? Huh? They did kinda have something to do with sponsoring the team. Just saying. And why does it have two kinds of stars in the graphics? Some are five pointed and some are six pointed. What's up with that?

Hope you guys and gals had a good lunch. I'll know where it is next time. waytogo

good to see you Ron, glad you're in good spirits.

Brian, the only reason I found it is because Lisa's Guzzi was out front.

Jack's is a good hang-out - it's a cool, laid back kind of place *with* covered  parking that fronts Commerce Street.  Unfortunately, the resturaunt is completely obscured from view by this structure when you're cruising Commerce looking for it  bang head

Oh well, great to see Ron, Muscrat, Cyclone, RED, and L'Smart.  Good times  Cool

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Jack's would be just a darn good get together place for DFWMers. I wouldn't mind making that our clubhouse!

Very cool to see Ron up and about so soon after bionic body repair. I tried to get Leo to take me down the street to the Elbow Room when I was at Baylor but he just didn't have the same drugged up ambition and motivation that I had!! laughingdp All I wanted was a good pint and sub sandwich. I'm sure my doc would have approved! Broken neck my ass... I was hungry... and stoned!!

We seriuosly need to make this our clubhouse since we've been "membered" out of Motopia and besides, I still have my keys to the Frank Crowley Courthouse in case we get in trouble!!! laughingdp chug applause

Seriously, this place just has all the right stuff for us. Covered parking on concrete keeps the bikes cool in summer. Close to the highways. Outside firepits and tables for smoking cigars and hoisting pints. Lesbians (not that there's anything wrong with that), Live music. Good pub grub and tunes on the p.a.. I mean my place doesn't even hold a candle! And, I can get there in 20 minutes from my house. I am going back tomorrow night if it's not wet or too cold. Now, if they would only install a pool for the summer heat!....hmmmm... waytogo
