Tyre measurements

So a buddy and I have been geeking out on tyres for awhile and he started a spreadsheet to aquire data on different tyres etc...  I don't know how to post an exel spreadsheet here, but if it can be doen, tell me, and I'll post it up

I'd love to get measurements form anyone willing to do their own measuring, and then we could get a real knowledge base going!

tell me how it's done people, and I'll have it up.  then I'd be interested to hear what you think should be added etc..

okay, so I found one way to do it.  Hope this works for anyone interested in making additions.

for the time being, please don't add any columns unless you note something pertinent that we missed

so, now that there's a google app for this, I'd love to see some others posting their tyre numbers as they come in.  i think you can see the usefulness of this kind of data, as aside from caring about the shape of tyres, which I care about a lot, this can give some indication of that changes in geometry that shoing your bike in particular rubber can cause.  Also, I'm wanting to add a subjective impressions column wherein we can describe shape and riding impressions, and maybe a perceived tyre life section wherein owners can give a mileage indication of replacement intervals as well as what kind of of riding was being done to achieve the mileage indicated.  Gimme time and I'll have both of these up!

any thoughts on adding a price paid, and perhaps mileage/life of tire columns?

This is a great idea.  As soon as I get my new Michelins mounted, I'll have three pairs I can measure.

How about adding a column for weight?
