Not too loud. I think you are right about the measurement. It will be lower outside of the garage. You at least have a muffler. I have heard the bobber run and I have to say, the un-baffled BoomTubes on my bike are way louder....

Your bike in very loud. Everytime I hear it I can't understand how you can ride it like that. I'd be interested to see a measurement of your bike at idle.  [coffee]

I liked the sound of the straight pipes on your S2R8!   [evil]

My SIL are 105 dB.  Loud but still sound good!   [thumbsup]

I just had a chance to re-measure it ouside and without the confines of the garage it was only 97.5db at idle.   [cheeky]

have you checked at 2800rpm?

Just trying to see how they compare to 'normal' a/m cans.

if i read that right, then i dont see it as being too loud...  your bike has something there to muffle the sound, but my bike has nothing (04 800 with just the headers, no mufflers), and i dont think mine is too loud.  in fact, at highway cruising speeds i hear my intake OVER the exhaust.

Monstermash

So I guess it's not too loud as I originally thought. Dr. Desmo just came by the house to check out the new exhaust and he thought it was ok. I think his exact words were "Thats the best sounding 2V I've ever heard"  ;D

I finally got a video so I thought I would share.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the video. It's much deeper and sounds seriously pissed off in real life.  ;D

Let me know what you think.
