Just seeing if anyone else is down for a Sals Pizza run soon. Never had it, I'm dying to try it, and no one else wants to make the trek from Milwaukee out there. Let's set something up!

Beck, it was great to meet you! the food was insane good. The riccota in the calzone was superb! I know where I'll be going once all this damn snow clears out of WI. In the summer a full day at Holy Hill or in the Kettle, finished up at Sals with a Blakes Pesto Pie, can't wait for it.
Funny thing is a buddy of mine wne tot the sals downtown Milwaukee on Saturday and had a left over garlic knot from there... you won hands down! Cheers

Had the opportunity to meet "That Nice Guy Beck" at Sals this weekend. The food is worth the two hour ride to get there! Hopefully a meeting or two can take place there this summer.
"Beck", thanks for taking a couple of minutes out of your busy afternoon. I enjoyed meeting you.

I'd definatley be down for some kinda run. Problem is thats Sal's is only 5 minutes away and we are there quite often. So for me it is not really a get away. Maybe a ride through the Kettles. Just have to stay away from the rustic trail by Holy Hill. Some of those roads are quite dangerous as I have found out.

I believe that we've only seen you once. The other two guys dont know us by name, but know who we are. (me and the misses). Just tried a stuffed pie and may not be eating for a week. Stuffed being the main word.

Anyone want to do a ride out to Sals sometime next week? The weather should still be beautiful. Only problem is, Beck sold his bike so he'd have to drive his Bimmer next to the ride!

I stopped in there last year once with my wife and another couple. It was the best antipasto salad I have ever had. The food was great. If I can work it out with weather and schedule - I'm in.

Sal's? Where? Marquette campus? Waukesha?
I'd love to, but I'll be suffering on a beach in Mexico next week with a cup always full gin and tonic.
