Given much thought to this?

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

rat- you had me crying at my desk with that story...

lmt- i feel your pain. in the last 3 months, i could have paid 3 months rent with my dog's vet bills..& no, im not exaggerating.. but, i really dont know how id function in life without them

bick & aj - yes, i tend to be a bit silly about my birthday :) ... i had a not so nice childhood, but the one thing my parents did instill was birthdays are special. it's the one day a year to celebrate you.. so, it's just stuck with me.. my birthday is exactly 2 weeks from christmas so for as long as i can remember the countdown has began the day after christmas :) it's not so people can say happy bday to me or give me presents..it's just kind of a reminder to myself that from time to time you should celebrate you being you.... not that i would ever turn down a birthday wish :) .... but it also helps me not freak out about getting older. i actually embrace it :)

I could have fit all the lawyers on the forum with room to spare. ;D

Waiting until spring was not really an option.

Here in the northeast concrete needs to get covered with a building...

corpses can wait until spring...

they hardly smell at all. ;D

I do miss that about NY.  I would give them a gift and a case of beer.  I was good for the year.  And yes, they would start on the case right in front of me.  And yes it was 6:30 in the morning.

It doesn't work that way at our transfer station.    :(

Way back in the dark ages when I was in the Air Force, I was stationed at Loring AFB, Maine. Nearest town was Limestone and that is about 5 hours north of Bangor. I was on the honor guard and we would have a handful of funerals in the spring. Old vets would die in the winter and then the families had to wait till the spring thaw to bury them.
