I recalled it looking older but looking at pictures now, it does look very 1920's

and if not that there is also that his is the only house in his area without a basement flooding issue since his basement is actually ground level and he filled around it but so gradually that the house doesn't look like it's sitting on a mound

also he hurricane strapped the house as if it were in South Florida not South Jersey
