What's up with the paint biz?
I have a barn full of work that needs doing.

Looks like it will start to happen.

So I made it about a mile before having to turn around and head for home.

Our certified coaches have walkers and run/walkers who want to run start with a 2 minute walk/3minute run intervals for 30-40 minutes.

Then increase to 1 min. walk/4 minute run for 60 minutes for a while.  Helps to build back that endurance.

I'm sure Diva and her running wisdom would be better to listen to since I'm still basically a noob at all this.

But like the wise one said:

Getting out the door is the hardest part, and taking a walk break isn't cheating.   ;)

That might be true...

from my experience the carbs are the killer.

As always...YMMV

I know I eat too many meals with bread and pasta in them.  That's the main thing.

That's why they'll be hard to cut out...

Last night was 3 bean soup over Farfalle, tonight is turkey chili with penne, a few nights ago we had arrabiatta linguini...

I live in an Italian household.   At least my Papa makes the best salads on the face of the earth!    [drool]

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Stella..

That's how a friend mine finished her marathon.

She ran a mile, walked for a minute, ran a mile, walked for a minute, etc...

I just need to remember it's been a few years since I did my last tri, and I ain't 21 anymore.  :P

The more carbs you eat the hungrier you get.

It's weird.

I've lost a ton of weight by cutting back on carbs. I feel better.

The chances of me running depend solely on how big the guy chasing me is. ;D

Carbs.  That's all I've eaten today.   :P   [drool]

Me giving up carbs would be like you giving up vodka.   ???   :'(

It'll never happen.  Maybe I should try to cut back...

Giving up carbs has allowed me to keep my vodka.

I even got rid of the citrus mixers to avoid the sugars.

The doctor doesn't believe I drink what I do.

I made a choice...and for 405 I ain't in bad shape. ;)

What'd you hit him with? ;D

Nothing...I just reminded him that he is waaaay older than me and will be grumpy old man long before I'm a hag.

Though I think he failed to remember that I cook 90% of the food he eats.   [evil]
