but monkeys are fun.

i want a helper monkey. i would teach him to go give ppl a slap that annoy me.

My friend Belinda is afraid of monkeys.

We used to give her shit about it until she finally told us why. Then we understood. And we still gave her shit about it.

Apparently when she was little, her parents decided to take her through one of those little drive-through safari park zoo thingies.

Everything is going fine until I guess at some point they went past where a bunch of monkeys were hanging out by a tree or something.

One of the monkeys was a mother who's baby monkey had apparently died.

In a fit of rage, mama monkey hurled dead baby monkey carcass at whatever was nearby.

Happened to be their car.

So little Bel is strapped into the car seat in the back when dead baby monkey hits the window. And splatters a bit.

And sticks.

Being in a drive-through zoo, they were in a sort of procession of cars, and being IN a zoo, they couldn't really get out and clean it off.

No choice but to keep driving through the safari park.

Slowly.

With baby monkey corpse stuck to the window.

And Bel screaming and crying the whole time.

I actually wasted a vacation day today so I didn't have to complete the "randomly selected employee" Regulatory Compliance activity-reporting documents

I get tagged randomly every 6 months, this time I just coded a vacation day....maybe they will stop randomly selecting me if I stop giving them good data
