+1, absolutely agree.

tip: save the pit from the avocado and put it in the center, buried under the guac... it helps it stay fresh for hours

Actually, the best way to keep it fresh is to put plastic wrap / saran wrap right on top of the guac surface (not over the bowl).  You don't want to leave any air, that's what causes it to oxidize.
