The zipster finally did it...

Fell off the railing and broke his femur.

We'll all be in the hospital for a few days.

Dunno if I'll be around much.

Play nice.
:P
damn, I thought he was indestructible

Get well soon Z!

Sorry to hear that dp. Are they gonna put him on crutches or keep him from walking altogether?

Btw, I just wanted to say that I'm on a plane. Woot!

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

...and therein lies the rub...

So does he. :-\

They just took him to surgery.

He was fine through the IV insertion...he doesn't like the splint and wrap.

Waiting sucks...and there is nothing harder than waiting to hear that your little boy will be OK.

He has a rough time with anesthesia.

When he had his tonsils out he woke up really delirious...ripped out his IV.

As it so happens he just came back up...1/2 hour...

He seems fine.

His cast is epic though...mid torso to his toe on his right leg...and to mid thigh on his left. :o

He is doing quite well...the limp was really exacerbated by the injections into the knee joint but a week and 4 days later that has subsided and he is doing much better

I have him off the anti-inflammatories and we are taking walks around the block and he isn't doing a 3 legged gimp as a result of the exercise

They said the tissue production triggered by the acell treatment will take 2 or 3 months

but he seems happier the trouble is...he now feels well enough to re-injure it playing  :-/

Good news!  Hope you can keep him from over doing it!
