Low of 42 High of 86 here. But things are going to change in about a month. I hope I get the concrete poured before that.

It was 33 here this morning.

Supposed to get to the mid 70's

It might be time to put the shorts away.

I have the jackets and long pants out now.

I'm stupid.

I live in a cold snowy state and do no winter sports other than hugging the wood stove. ;D

How did you like the count down to winter?  [laugh]

No your not stupid. There's a reason I don't go ice skating even though there is a really nice ice skating ring nearby.
This is the sort of thing I like to do get into during the winter.

I could use one of those today... suffering through my post Cornerspin bodily hangover. Aside from the general bruises I got a nice handle bar/hand guard end right in the meat of my thigh. it'll be fun colors in a day or two. Like tie-dye for my skin

Your handlebar end or someone else?

All mine. Short straight to a 100 degree left and I washed out the rear. Bike came around near 180 as we (me and my trusty steed) were falling and it showed it's disapproval of my riding by getting the end of the bar between my meat and the earth, and then flopping the rest of its weight on top. Basically a hard metal bread sandwich with my meat as the filling.

At least I didn't get run over by one of the other instructors:

Far from planned of course. The instructors were having a bit of play time. Jamie got by Jean, but over committed a bit to do so an lost it directly infront of Jean in a nose to tail situation...

Happened to me to - though happen isn't the right word. I did it to myself as I was too heavy on the front and pushed it out from under me. Stay neutral is the watch word. I didn't get run over as I was a bit further past they guy I passed, but he did drop his bike on me as a result of maneuvering to not run over me. Got me a little burn on my love handle from that.

That class is great - as you can push your limits (and occasionally beyond) and get a feel for the difference with minimal consequences.  I'd rather bif it at 15 mph into some dirt than at 40 mph into the tarmac.
