.... think I'll take the lazy option, depending how busy The Man is.

Guess the seals just shrivelled up from standing idle.

Sometimes they come back.

I'd clean it up and see if they still leak.

It takes very little oil to make a mess.

I'd make sure the sliders were shiny clean and see before I dropped the money for seals.

Sometimes...a piece of dirt can get between the slider and seal lip and can be removed by pulling the dust seal down and sliding a business card in there and dislodging it.

I'm cheap. :P

Wheels and frame do look Suzuki like! A GS of some kind?

Evening Ducatters.

Sunny this arvo  8).   I found a spot between two watch towers where the guards dont have a clear view of the perimeter fence.... chose my moment and made a dash for it  [evil]

Got home early and for the first time in months took the Monster out for a spin  [Dolph].

I learned a few things:

1) Compared to the DR (which has been my preferred ride of late) my M1100 is FAST  ;D.
2) The mirrors are completely useless  [laugh].
c) The front fork seals appear to have withered and died during their 5ish month idle time.....  oil on the fork lowers when I returned  :(.
4) Compared to the DR (which has been my preferred ride of late) my M1100 is FAST  ;D.

Guess I have to fix those fork seals now.... or if I get lazy just pull the fork legs and take em to see Brad Black.......

OK, you now know two things it seems  you didn't know about your Monster . . .
