It soaked through the envelope, the ink ran so the address is illegible and the stamp won't stick now.

Sorry.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

yes I am back online and a little worse for wear but cannot really complain in the face of what happened to so many others....

at least I had 2 other housing options when I finally got a full tank of gas to leave

the recovery effort was (is?) free-form chaos, local county bureaucrats have nothing to offer of substance  LIPA pulled down its status board on the web and directed all voice traffic to machines so they have gone into "fortress-under-siege" mode

we were all shocked after 3 days to see no one clearing the larger county roads of downed trees so we could travel....the idea of line crews was too far-fetched and optimistic to even contemplate

generator gouging was rampant........ and looting was springing up while the cell service was down

then the gas shortage hit and still no crews in sight

we finally saw a survey crew from Asplundh Tree on Monday a full week after the storm....they told us we were the worst damaged they had seen yet re: trees and downed high-tensions etc

told us between 10 days to 3 weeks to rebuild out outside plant

this was a real clusterfark of incompetence
This is an insult to the Pez community

How would you possibly talk coherently anyway without coffee in your system?

[coffee]

One meeting today in the town of meth heads then back to Denver where I get to pick up a ton of winter gear all over the city to ship to the right (and cold and wet) coast.  Gonna be a long but good one.

[thumbsup] [bacon]

Sorry about the meth heads. I'm not big on Meth....

Good to see you back Rat..

Is Bacon still missing?
