You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Brrr. 16 at the house this morning.
There was a car upside down in the ditch last night coming over the pass. He almost made it down to a no ice elevation, around 3,000 or so. He drove through the worst of it and hit an ice patch on a turn just before the ice ended for him. I hit my first patch of ice just before coming upon the scene. The ESP light came on for me and the car slowed down. then right around the corner there was a big scene. I think there were two cars involved and somehow one was upside down.

I'm glad it wasn't actively snowing. It had been raining closer to the coast and a little farther north.

16 degrees here this morning.   :P

One pup not feeling 100% and snoozing by my side, the other holding the couch down until it warms up a bit to get outside.

Burned through about half the wood last night that we got yesterday morning.  About 1/4 cord.  (Ok, maybe a little less.)

I don't have wood heat at my house, but I have gas over at the shop, electric here at the house, and a nice new outdoor patio heater That I'm going to use later on.
