It was probably only about 10 degrees warmer in the cab. how did people survive with these heaters?
though I suspect I may be doing something wrong.

Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

i'm not crossing the rockies, and I'm doing my best to stick to valleys when I get to CA.
i'm headed for I-10 then go a bit north at LA then west to the coast.

Well you may avoid the Sierras but your not going to get around the Rockies. Although the southern route will be warmer.

see many?
Too many, thankfully didn't have to bounce any off of the car. Up and down one hill, at the same spot,  had a particularly nice looking swamp wallaby jump out at me a couple of times. Must have been a tasty bit of grass in there.
