The linkage on Superbikes and Monsters are different.

A spring for a 190 lb rider will be a different weight rating for the two bikes.

Put it on and try it.

You'll see.

Send your shock to race tech and they can revalve and re spring it for your riding style and weight. Once you have the preload and rebound set you shouldnt have to mess with it again.

I dont have one on my monster but I guy I rode with did, he liked it alot.

I did have Racetech gold valves and springs in the front of my track bike with a Fox twin clicker at the rear. once it was set up, it all worked perfectly.

Im pretty sure that what the guy had just the OEM shock. I'll see if I can find him he used to hang out in tech.

I have 748 forks on the front..

I was thinking on installing 998 forks on mine but then . .. the 998 came complete to me . ..  so, Monster stays "OEM" front . . except if I get away with installing M696 front forks with radial calipers on mine . . .same rotor, same pn, so, same offset . . . but, is all just a plan . .. legal paperwork on 998 is taking a bit longer than expected . . .

Well if you do it you need to get the top triple machined a bit or buy a new one for the conversion and make some shims for the lowers.
