No, the dam is to make the lake and to siphon off most of the runoff down a pipe to the hydroelectric plant. If it's too high, expensive homes are threatened, you can't have that.

Oh it's a hydro...

So they save the expensive stuff and screw the common folk?

It's rare that they have to let out any large amounts of water. But when they do, most of the rivers that this flows into are overflowing already as well. If I hadn't had a computer crash a couple years back, I'd still have some crazy pictures of the resulting flooding.

i'm actually so busy, i don't have time to argue my point, and there is no point in it really...
if he wants to keep clients, and get paid, he needs to butt out and let me do my job.
my coworkers follow my lead anywayz  [laugh]
