3 + miles running. I made my own electrolyte replacement drink. Gator Aid and those like it have to much sugar and to many ingredients I can't pronounce. My mix is 16 ounces of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of Potassium chloride (salt substitute), and some lemon juice. Tasty! Not to sweet and I get the salt and potassium back. Way cheaper to make then buy  sounds like an awesome mix....I have been using Nuun personally, because I don't like the sugaryness of Gatorade either...one of my running buddies swears by the Eduralytes Fizzies...haven't tried them yet. |
