It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Are you?

At the moment, yes.

Apology accepted for not being invited to dinner with you.

Including the trip to Darkest Peru?

28th & Fairfax.  Across the street from the liquor store (that has the best selection of 40s & malt liquor in town, I might add - of course, my opinion only).

Called Latke Love.  Open 7a-3p Thu-Sun (for now).

Oh all those people out on the East coast are most likely asleep anyway. Its 10 O Clock and Im not the least bit sleepy. Kind of odd for me.

I do not envy your flight schedule.

Randimus Maximus

The flights to/from Peru will be tolerable (especially since I burned miles to put us in first class).

The majority of the hops I do are too short to be worth all of the hassle of an airport (DEN-PHX, DEN-ABQ, DEN-SLC, etc.).

Fortunately, I get to keep the miles & hotel points.

I'd like the merry-go-round to stop at times, however.

See that's where you need the corporate jet, that way you can just walk on the thing and go. Most people never get to ride on those because of the cost, so the airport bag drag and flying in coach is what has to be endured By the majority, myself included. I got to ride in a couple of those jets for work and it just ruined me. And that was before all this pat down stuff, taking off the shoes, cant bring liquids on the plane, etc. In a few weeks I have to take the southwest bus out of OAK to MDW. First time I've been on a plane since 07' I think.

If I can I drive, or take the train, or just dont go. The security stuff is what really sticks in my craw. I just really resent it. Im pressed for time on this Chicago thing though so im going to deal with it. If this were a vacation i would drive.

Airports truly suck.  I've been summoned to Salt Mine HQ in Sydney the second half of this coming work week  [puke].

So much make the beast with two backsing around for 85 minutes of air time  [bang].

And then there's the 2 days of mind bending corporate imprisonment to be endured before I get to fly out of there at 17.45 on Friday arvo along with every other weekend-bound desperado.

Kingsford Smith airport early Friday evening... its an exodus akin to...
