why do i feel yucky and dirty whenever i fly on an airplane?

and why am i in a data center (i.e. 24/7 tech building) and hearing some guy through the wall trying to train his dog? over and over "sit down sit down sit down lie down lie down sit down". its driving me insane.

Zero fresh air on a plane.  I have that as a fact from the guy and gals that build them.  Boeing plants here in the Seattle area are like a ghost town.  27,000 are on strike.

I used to be in tech as a database project manager.  I managed the software creation, beta, ship, and end of life process., plus porting, and translations.  I hated going into a large server farm.  My heart would speed up and I would feel sick for hours.

its the noise that gets me. in fact, its like being on an airplane. theres constant engine noise and fan noise from all the servers. and that weird feeling that its cold but hot at the same time. you've got those huge a/c units running but you still feel the background heat from all the machines.

friend's going away/birthday party
i didn't drink much of anything (a shot and water), so i'm not enjoying it as much as everybody else
she gets drunk
