EverNing, EveryBody.

Welcome back, Mary.

Good trip?

Great trip. Cut off from internet, phone and TV. I ran or walked every day, drank with old friends and past co-workers. We trashed talked other medics and firefighters, remembered funny calls, and had a blast catching up. It was good to see how they all (almost all) moved on from ambulance work. The lifting gets us all in the end.

Plus the running store in Ashland had a pair of Brooks Trance in a woman's size 12 on the sale rack! 50% off! I wear the Adrenaline and the Trance is a good choice for me.

Lucy did great. Her longest car ride prior to the trip was under an hour. From here to Gold Hill was 480 miles one way. She did not complain except for at Oregon gas stations. She did not like the worker coming up to the Jeep to get  the payment. I felt weird not pumping my own gas. Reminded me of when I first moved to Washington and went to Costco for gas. I pulled up and sat at the pump for bit. The car behind me started to honk. Only then did I remember that I had to get out and do it myself.

Stella

What a great trip it sounds like for you both!  Long overdue too.

In the final stages of packing on this end for our vaca. Party with Polly on the machu Picchu, coming right up!
