I'm curious...

find out the rating of the unit too please...probably be rated in tons.

It will certainly make the place more comfy in the summer.

this house is on 2 zones
forced air on the second floor
and radiant on the first floor

open floor plan with a lot of very large windows on the upper level
the 5 largest of them don't open
the lower level stays cool in the summer
but the upper level has bad air flow in the summer

it certainly will be nice to eliminate the humidity

ducpainter

Which direction do the windows on the second floor face?

When we were figuring out the windows and overhangs on our house it was going to be crucial to eliminate the direct sun in the warm months. No plan for AC.

I think we got it.

It's 66 degrees in there this morning.

No 'bending' possible.

This is a combination pilot thermocouple...looks like a mushroom or a cymbal.

It's toast.

Bummer.
