How was Sunday?

Sunday was an on/off rainy day of soccer.  Brought 2 very muddy boys home.

Early start tomorrow so I really ought be off to bed... but the cricket on TV it getting really interesting....  I'll have to pull the pin soon though.

What shapes up for your Sunday?

My coffee is ready and halfway through the first cup!

I need to make a side dish for the Mills thing today. I am thinking blanched whole green beans with chopped mint, olive oil, and sea salt sprinkled on each layer.

Then it is more paining.  to who are good at it. I excel at washing the wall.

First I wipe it down with warm water, then wash with a mixture of warm water and TSP, then wipe again with warm water.

It all goes down hill after that!

About to make coffee & brekkie and the power goes out.

We had some pretty heavy storms here last night, that caused the outages. Weird that the power just went out, however.

Looks like that storm brought us .65" of rain.  Our monthly average is 2.0".  Some of the really dry areas on the eastern plains got up to 7" from this storm.

Made a monster sized veggie salad after all the crap food that went into the gullet the past 8 days.  Body is going into shock now.  Detox time from salt, carbs, and maybe beer.  Maybe.
