Will the flooring fit in your ute? How long are the lengths?
The longest is probably 6'. This stuff was intended for interior use as opposed to outside which would be much longer. It's t&g on all sides. It's banded into something like 17.5 sq ft bundles. There's about 30 of them. It will fit.

There is a house that can be seen from the highway. This house looks like a refugee camp mansion pieced together from different scraps of leftover building materials. Yesterday i thought I saw new laminate flooring being used as roofing material on a portion of the roof. Put right on top of the old roofing material of course.

I have a brazillian Hardwood in the front room here, real nice stuff and laminate in two of the bedrooms. Guess which one I worry about scratches and gouges and have to oil once in a while? The Hardwood is nice stuff but don't come in the house with your cork boots on. What kind of wood are you getting Nate?

The Brazilian would need to be waxed occasionally.

Brazilian Merbau.
It's similar in color to Brazilian Cherry.
Seems hard as a brick.

That went right over my head until now. Brazilian Merbau.

It should be pretty good, and tough. Just make sure your furniture has those plastic sliders on the bottom and be somewhat careful. The stuff is hard but its not as indestructible as laminate.

The plan is to use a pneumatic flooring nailer so it can be blind nailed. The courses near the wall where the nailer wont fit will be drilled and face nailed. I really hope it works or the job will have vast amounts more suckitude than installing flooring generally has.

Well that's certainly different from what I'm used to. The plan is to use a pneumatic flooring nailer so it can be blind nailed. The courses near the wall where the nailer wont fit will be drilled and face nailed. I really hope it works or the job will have vast amounts more suckitude than installing flooring generally has. T&G will be nice and tight. It'll be fine

Of course it will be fine... things have a way of being what they are. I just don't want to have to hand nail all of it.

I wasn't here when the floor got put in but theres a concrete slab underneath this part of the house. I don't see any nail holes. I should ask Jim what he did next time I see him.
