Stella is up in the high country on a girlz weekend.  She hit the slopes at Vail today.

Our mountains are getting decent snow, so far.

Copper Mountain (my regular spot) has reported 36" on top of the man-made base.

Wolf Creek, which doesn't make any snow, already has 90", with 25" of that coming from the most recent storm.  It's a great ski area, but a little out of the way.

just watched Dr. Who's 50th Anniversary special The Day of the Doctor on re-run . . .

I must say . . . I remember when I watch it on SCN TV . .  B/W and the [at the time] newer shows in color . . .

I'm in the mountains of SW VA.  It was 55 and sunny mid day, now its 16 and snowing.

Had a 400ish pound black bear come to within 20 yards of me.  Sucker climbed up a dead tree as fast as a squirrel. 

Fun day at hunt camp.
