A full day of cricketing 15 year olds tomorrow.

So it's time I wasn't.

While I sleep, have a Saturday  [thumbsup]

Are pine trees ever any other colour?
Only if you let them dry out. [laugh]

Wait 2 months and someone will come along and replace your green pine tree with a Brown pine tree.

morn  [coffee] :)

xmas party was alright, the owners daughter (who usually drinks way too much, and wears far too little for a work event) was very well behaved this year... she even wore pants. last year she took a tumble in a very short dress.

having some coffee, doing some laundry and wrapping some presents before we head over to the casino for the night. my good friend is a ballerina, and she is performing the part of the sugar plum fairy in the nutcracker. i'm excited to go, but the weather is a bit concerning... plus, it's more of a snuggle up in front of the fire kind of weekend.

what's everyone else up to? hmmmm?  [coffee]

Im drinking tea and wishing people would get up.

I'm getting ready to stuff my face and then go split wood.

Coffee, breakfast in an hour or so, and then cleaning. I have not vacuumed in a week!

The dog hair threatening to take over. I might go to the mall and people watch. Book group at 3 today also.

Just stuffed le face with le non-french english muffin, peanut butter and sugarfree strawberry jam (funny - spell check doesn't like the word "sugarfree" - neither do I).   ;)

Off to "run" 4 miles then ride my bicyclette about 10.  Hoping I'm not the last one in.  Nuked ramen noodles at the finish is my motivator.  Doesn't take much.

Just glad it wasn't last week when we were -2 at this time.  Balmier weather IS on it's way!

Gotta, well, run.

Have a day!

Anything like this?

Mechanical issues on really cold days suck.

So does dental work.

Afterning.   [drink]

Gin neat.   :D

So the property fell through.  :(

Has major roof issues, carpenter ant (looks like it snowed wood) in a part of the building that was not available to be seen when first toured the building.  The sellers were not willing to offer any concessions so we walked.

Looked at another property today.  About the same square footage, and in similar condition.  No serious issues to deal with right away, but still has some problems.  Its a commercial building, currently 5 small store fronts, and includes a 2/2 double (2 apts with two bedrooms each, on separate floors of a two story house with full attic and basement).  The apts basically move in ready; rip out carpets, deal with the condition of the hardwood, and paint walls.  This has a huge advantage that we would have a place to live, as well as unit that we could collect rent on right away.  Best part is it almost half the asking price of the first one, so we have a lot $$$ to put toward converting the commercial building into 1 commercial space and 2 more apts.  Only time will tell how this one will workout.

Not much else going on....

Got an unexpected bonus at work yesterday.   [thumbsup]

Seems like everyone else has been busy.
