Dad's. I guess I should send mine a card.

[beer] time here. Been out of beer for 2 days. Went and got a couple of growlers filled this afternoon!

So paradise hit a record high of 67* today.

An 82* shift from about 2 weeks ago.

The good news is that our backyard landscaping project is nearly complete.  The concrete patio was poured on Monday, and finished on Tuesday.  The landscapers were back today to install the irrigation, edging and add more soil to the bedding areas.  Tomorrow they'll be back to plant shrubs & lay down some sod.  [thumbsup]

At some point I'll start a thread or post the pics on here.

Dads, good, bad, bah dads . . . still, somehow we miss them or look up to them . . .

Never had a good relationship with mine until I came back from Germany and I was 25 back in '93 . . . he left on Feb 19, 2001 . . . I will admit, I was afraid of him for most of my childhood/teen life, but, he meant good, all the scoldings, made me who I am, hopefully, a good person, someone who works for what he has and wants nothing given . . . will fight for my rights or what I think is right, he didn't and many many times got crossed or blammed and stll kept quiet . ..  I do miss the guy

Yup RM, you must at least taunt us with some pics . . .

I have a natural dad that I only met once. That was the day I got adopted, he was there to sign the papers in front of the judge. He could not tell you one thing about me.

My adopted dad might be able to tell you one or two things about me. The last time I saw him I was 17.

I neither look up to or miss either of them.
