Tree trim guy came unexpectedly yesterday. He had an opening for today so I jumped on it.
I wrote  him this letter.


Thank you very much for coming and trimming the tree. It makes a huge difference. Not only will that bird probably find a different spot to poop and throw his victims feathers and blood all over our cars, but I don't have to worry about that limb coming throughout the roof. there will probably be less yard cleanup next year as well. I have enclosed a postdated check for $200 and will send you the remaining $150 on or before March 1st.

just got home . . . starting to hate commute . . . will not be better with bike, not enough space to lane split . . .

I used to have a 33 mile (one way) commute when I worked for United. It involved a 5 dollar toll and a drive through the City.

But now my once a month commute to work on land surveys is about 600 miles round trip. And you know what? Who cares?
