My summer vacation has - like all good things - come to an end.

So I too have to go to work in the morning. 

Not having to go to work would be ideal  8)   But I do appreciate having work to go to.

Them bills, they never take vacation, eh.

i wish i could, but it's true
there is actually dried mud on the interior floor mats
(relieved the are rubber and can be washed easily)
and the exterior wheel wells... are packed with black ice

Why do they have to use salt? Why not just use crushed Lava Rock like they do here? That way you only need to fix the rock chips and replace the front windshield every couple of years.
