Ticker tape parade today for the Seahawks! No such thing as ticker tape these days, so I wonder what we call it now?

No snow here, but it is 22 out!

I won my own version of a Superbowl bet.  Every year I try to get through it without knowing who is playing.  I just found out last night the Seahawks won and I still do not know for sure who they played.

We once walked into a bar after a day of flying hanggliders and it was packed.  This bar was traditionally empty and dead.  There was a cute girlie in a referee's shirt selling beer by the bucket.  When she came over I asked her what they did to bring in the crowd, her answer?  (best valley girl inflection) uhh Superbowl Sunday.  Funny as heck as none of us even realized it.

Have a good laugh and enjoy your coffee.  :)

The snow has pretty much stopped here.  We only got about 8".

My craftsmen snowblower tractor attachment wasn't very cooperative.   In fact I'm going to call it dead.  Too many broken belts and cables.   I'm done.

No snow and bright sunshine here. It never did get above freezing. 700,000 people showed up for the parade! It was an hour late getting started. I was so cold.

Rocky is coming over to spend the night! He will be here around 1830.

Pretty much stopped here now too, but it will have to wait until morning.

i spent about 5 hrs shoveling today ... i'm done too
snow drifts around the house mid thigh deep
my car was buried to the hood

as usual, mike wasn't here for all of this
and has just now started plowing the driveway

I am feeling all antsy too. Waiting to talk with the plant manager in Kodiak. Waiting to hear back from the director here. He wants me to come in on Thursday or Friday.

I think moving to Kodiak is just the major change I need. Really start over!
