Is it a good one?

After I'm done shoveling it will be fine.

Have to wake up first.

MendoDave

Im up early so I might go back to bed.

There is a road called Baseline road that runs east and west through Phoenix. Yesterday when we were out and about over by the superstition mountains about 20 miles east of Phoenix, we came to the intersection of Baseline & Meridian. This interests me because of my Surveying back ground, and I thought Ah Ha! This is the point where all of the land division in this part of the state starts from. However it was a rather unremarkable low flat spot that just didn't make any sense as a starting point.

After doing some looking on the interwebs I discovered that Baseline road is in fact the Baseline, but the meridian is 35 miles away on the other side of town where 115th Ave used to be, up on a hill over looking a race track.

So having discovered that and the LAT/LONG of the thing, I have to decide weather to eat something or go back to bed for a while.

Shoveling and cold weather are second nature in the Northeast, you could prolly do it while you sleep.

My plow guy didn't do anything in front of the new house. No place to put the snow.

I'm thinking I'll give George a call to come with his tractor and move things around.

Morning.   [coffee].   And evening.  [beer]

Our few spurts of cold and snowy have turned to warm and sunny. But we're giving Chicago a run for the "Windy City" title which we do nearly every spring.   Makes for good resistance training on the bicycle and - as I recall - cat-like reflex training on the moto.

Running and swimming today.  And swimming in laundry â€" yuck.

Have a shovely day east coasters.   ;)
