Looks like the Painter went back to bed.  Old people  [roll]

Soooooo... this last weekend, whilst I was away terrorising the mountains on the DR650....  Tony - aka koko64 - was terrorising the track on his Gixxer.  Yeah, I know  [laugh]

But... something unusual happened:  This time the track won  :-\

Not completely.

As you can see, he's still with us.  Some broken ribs, punctured lung, various other damaging spectacularities.  Silly old make the beast with two backser should get a dual sport bike and leave track days to the young folk.

Get well soon Tony mate  [thumbsup]

You mean the Tony who thinks my dog is creepy, is up posting stuff with broken ribs and a puntured lung? Hes a tough old bird...
Probably togher than Nate. I just heard him whining about wanting to go back to bed.

Well its late im going to try and get some more shuteye before the su comes up.  ;D

Edit: Tiles are in the bathroom Needle.

My wife agrees with you, so I bid on that Elefant for gentle trail riding and picnics with you. :-*
Don't tell anyone, but I want to keep the Gixxer. I need track days. DP still does them ;D

Damn right he does...

I've been lucky.

My crashes have either been at low speed...

or performed gracefully. ;D

Riding in the dirt will get you hurt. ;)

There's something about the speed, violence and precision of track riding that can't be beat. It's two wheeled martial arts. [evil]
First crash I didn't get up from. I don't want to go quick in the dirt, just explore on"camping" holidays with my wife or country riding on dirt roads.

When it goes well there is no feeling quite like it. Bike moving everywhere...both wheels sliding.

Gotta love it. ;)

Both wheels sliding... dirt road riding will do that for ya too... but the thrills are at 60mph..

Confession:  I have never done a track day.  Maybe I'm missing something?  How's the ribs Tony?

Yep, it's so violent, but so serene at once.
If I stopped track riding I fear I would start speeding on the street, with all the consequences.
I need the flump though.
Will take some meds then to bed.
Feel cheered up by the class clown, thanks Ung [laugh].
