Nah-I was just going to put Travis in the big fenced area-let him run around off leash for once.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I think he's going to grow pot in that barn. Thats what everyone does in California with big barns like that these days. He will probably have a couple of lamas and some Emus around and claim its a working farm that somehow makes money on Lamas and Emus, but everyone knows better than that.

A camera just doesn't do the mountains justice Mendo Dave.... needed a 360° lens.

We stopped for lunch on day 2... 1600 metres up... on the edge of a cliff..  nothing stopping you jumping off but the desire to stay alive..  a bunch of grown blokes... silenced by the awesomeness of the environment.  Be a while before I have a better lunch than that one.

I like being in the woods like that. I recently took a trip on CAHwy 3, a seldom used road that was once part of the main road between Portland and San Francisco. Lots of granite and cool clear water.

The pictures don't do justice.

Yup its good to get away.... after the hectic week (one more day to go) down the Salt Mine... I wish I was back up in the high country.
