I never noticed a difference in the day of the week and the suitability of that day for libation.

That's just me though.

You're quite right.  There's nothing unsuitable about a Monday evening for a snifter o' whiskey. 

Its the proximity of the following morning's alarm clock which tempers my natural enthusiasm.
