sad day... my brothers golden retriever passed away today  :'(
loved that shoe stealing, toy chewing, sally girl :)
glad i got to visit with her one last time this past weekend

Went to a wake for a guy I worked with for 10 years...good guy.

B heard back for the firm in Burlington.  They reconsidered and decided not to hire anyone.   [thumbsdown]

Still other options out there.

Had a good long weekend in Allentown/Bethlehem, PA for B's youngest son's and his wife's Ph.D. hooding ceremony.

The pups were very happy to see me when I picked them up at the boarding kennel.

This guy was suffering from dementia and confined to a veterans home. I worked with him for long enough to know he didn't want that kind of life.

I understand. I watched Dad go downhill with Parkinsons. It made me clear about some things. There's a reason the old Vikings went up the front in the next battle.

Sad news Tini. Sorry the declining health and death of your friend Nate.

Long week of teaching so I get 2 half days off! I worked Sat and have 10 hour + days on Tuesday and Thursday.

Lawyer stuff is moving along. Many emails today and I hope to pay my bill in full on Friday!

Fish sticks and home made coleslaw for dinner! Plus I have the season final episode of Call the Midwife.

Rough day with the baby-poor little frump was inconsolable.

I did buy a tractor though, so there's that.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

John is in a better place, or so they say.

I'll be working on finishing up the hardwood floor sanding, and painting the supports for the granite on the breakfast bar.

Those have to be installed before the counter tops.
