G'day Nate.
What's your Friday hold?

I'll tell you what I did (everybody, whether you like it or not ;D). tuned the Gixxer, worked on the GLW's little turbo jigger (Colt convertible), helped a mate pick up a bike, lifted weights, listened to the footy, chilli for dinner, had a beer and plan to watch Moto GP Qualifying.
Got the house to myself tonight, come over for a beer.
I think I already had Friday...

I'll try Saturday though. ;D

Bugger! No Moto GP qualifying on Channel One >:(.
I also miss SBK on free to air. Watching Troy Corser, Anthony Gobert and Aaron Slight in 1996 changed my life.

MMA is on later. I'll watch that. Right now I shall train in the shed while checking in on you all between sets. ;).

So how was Friday?

Family day Sat or sanding?

Probably family day.

I'll pick up a walk behind sander, with dust collection, next week and finish up.

I spent all day Thursday and part of yesterday cleaning up all the dust.

Good to hear the end is in sight.
I felt exhausted from over here!

It was feeling pretty endless for a while...

Time stretches out when the job hurts your body.
I was once a sparring partner for people fighting for titles. I wasn't very good, so 3 minutes felt like an hour [laugh].

I think I'll be able to do a gentle street ride within a month.

Well, since I was on my knees I figured knee pads were in order.

Turned out they stretched the muscles in my calves more than they were used to and it actually was worse than just kneeling on the floor.

I stopped using them and the cramps stopped.

I agree, if your knees are good, then kneeling is much better than bending. I kneel a lot working on bikes. The pads were too thick, hyperextending your calves?
A short stool to sit on kills me, so I'd rather kneel. Gotta buy a bike lift.

I guess so.

Maybe it's just age. I've worn pads before when I was wire monkeying...

but that was years ago.

I hear you, I never had to pay attention to working posture before. It matters now. :P

A HS football back injury always kept me aware of posture, but I ever had any issues with my legs before.

No matter...it's getting done.

How long were you a wire monkey?
The height would get me now.

[coffee] I woke up at 0500  :'(  Sleeping in is just not for me.

No big plans for today, a birthday brunch to go to tomorrow.

Sounds painful Nate. Your day sounds good Koko!
