We just came up to visit for the holiday weekend.

Went to fireworks last night and stayed up later than usual.

Most everyone is sleeping in.

Wish I was friends with sleeping in. Stayed up late (for me) and woke up at 0510.

It did clear up late in the afternoon. It cooled off too.

It was a nice night.

I managed to stay in bed until around 7...late for me.

I just made plans to meet an old mate at a not-so-nearby pub for lunch tomorrow.

I used to work with him before he retired.  He listens to my shit.  I listen to his.  But mostly he listens to mine.

That'll be some good old bloke shit-talkin' time  [thumbsup].
