You can run a radiant system very easily with a water heater.

I went with a boiler because banks in New Hampshire won't finance a house without a boiler or a foundation.

If T or Z ever need to sell the place they'll need the buyer to get hocked.

I'd say that's a fair assessment.

If the slab is cold, you use almost as much fuel to get it to temp as you use to maintain the temp for the entire heating season.

I'm hoping to never let it get very cold.
