got to the shop to the surprise of NO electricity in one half of the building; one big warehkuse are has eletricity so J am sitting here with my fan waiting on electrician...

MD3.0 it is hot and humid here . .  only one door from where fresh air can come in . . . at least fan is workong . .  a few outlets are working

The new tv is here...make the beast with two backser is heavy.

Too bad the wall mount didn't make it yet.

Really? I thought all these flat screens were super light now. This 27" Monitor Is a featherweight.

Nope.

On the recommendation of a DMF'er, who's opinion regarding electronics I value highly, I got sumpin' else.

I'll post pics when it's on the wall.

I also got a new wireless router. It came yesterday and works great. I get all the bandwidth my ISP provides, which is actually pretty pitiful, but the real reason I got this one was for wireless sharing in the house, and for future proofing.

This one is not light...it's also substantially larger than 27".

I would hope you got something at least in the 40" category or larger.

My dad has one of these. Its a 27" and it takes 2 men & a boy to move. Very front heavy. The glass must be an inch thick.
