Not me. I was going to ask about him the other day.

I decided about the Table. I can build it out of Box Tubing and just grind down the ugly welds. I can get a 10" metal cutoff wheel and use it on the chop saw. (why didn't I think of that before?) That is going to be way cheaper than crashing a monster.

I Like this idea. with a different top.

Does your mini mig have a regulator to use 75/25 Ar/CO2?

Much cleaner welds if you take the time to prep.

You could make the top frame out of angle with square tube legs. Then the top will sit inside the angle and can't slide around.

Yes it does and I have a tank full of CO2. I have never used this setup. I like your idea of the angle iron.  [thumbsup]

It should be a mix of Argon and CO2. Get yourself a small spool of .023 solid wire, and change out the contact tip and liner or it won't run right.

That set up should be capable of welding 1/4" if you do it from both sides.

I think 1/8" would be adequate for what you're doing depending on the top material.

Square tubing is incredibly strong for the wall thickness so that could be 1/8" wall, or less with good bracing.

Looks like my tank is a mixture: 75% Argon / 25% CO2 I will need to get a few items from Airgas like the wire, Tip, and a plastic tube.
I had a spool of wire someplace...

Oh, was asked if I wanted to become the "Dr. House" of the company's workshops .
You are already part way there, given how much you "love" sales people. You have the attitude part down pat.  ;)

You've hired Paul Bunyan, then?

The box tubing is way better.
That pipe fitting kluge was awful.  [puke]

What are you thinking for the top?

And what did you use for the top of the bagging table?
