Good there's no flooding.

Hope there's not too much snow.

Strange thing for me, an Aussie in Melbourne thinking about your snow probs! So foreign to me.

Better day in Qld today?

We have friends on the Gold Coast holidaying, who said it's been a tad wild and woolly!

Snow really isn't so much a problem as it is a normal occurrence this time of year. We've had years to learn to deal with it.

You guys just have a hard time relating to it I guess.

Lots of flag waving Ukrainians making a noise outside my Hotel when I arrived back here.  Lot's of Federal Police cars.

I was surprised that they'd turn out in such numbers to greet me.  But I waved and thanked them anyway.

And then I learned they're protesting.  Apparently the Ukranian President is my neighbour.
