I don't fly often, but I think you get the same deal no matter where you go to purchase the ticket.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. Ning. Who do you guys like to finding flights?  Started looking last night for a flight to Tampa, Fl. Priceline had the same $ as Alaska for their flight. My 31,000 Alaska miles are not enough for a ticket  :(

I don't get in here much, but here's my $.02 worth of news on flying:

I just got a SouthWest Airlines 'Companion Pass' for my wife.  That means, ANYTIME I fly next year...  I get a 2nd ticket for her for free.

Yup!  Can't wait for business trips now!!!  [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

My sister likes Kayak.com    Personally, I either use orbitz or the airline's website (mostly united).  Good luck!

In other news:  I'm eating the second to worst pizza ever.  Hard to believe that that's even possible but it is.   [puke]

No matter the toppings, the crust and sauce and cheese are the foundation.  I've had some where one or two of those might be mediocre but when all three fall into sub-mediocre, well, it constitutes a serious violation of basic pizza culinary skills.

Terrible crap today that was masked as "pizza" but tasted like a dirty outdoor rug.   The time before that?  Well, I just can't relive that right now.  > shudders <

Where do I not want to try?

Good news is a Garlic Knot opened just down the street from me. [thumbsup] [drool]

Benny Blancos in cap hill / govs park.

Coincidentally, the first worst pizza is also in the same neighborhood:  Lala's Wine Bar.  (I won't even step foot in there for the wine the pizza was that bad.)

Haven't been to Garlic Knot but heard was good.  Too skeert now to deviate from what I know.

Garlic Knot is really good.  Very happy I don't have to go all the way to Roxborough now.

Kayak is good simply because it compares multiple sites, but the point that DP made is very valid. Where you will see different fares is most likely if you visited the airline's website. For example, my company uses Concur, which is a regular travel agency with a fancy website. Traveling to Canada sometimes I don't see flights that are available through Air Canada's site.

I don't even know where this Roxborough is you speak of.

All I know is that this place opened a block away from me and heard it was delish:  http://denver.eater.com/2014/12/15/7392637/north-county-opens-lowry-fish-tacos#4359856
