My last day of hols tomorrow too.

and then I have ten days leave leading into Australia Day.

......that's the price of progress.

You used to need to make an pretty accurate assessment, in order not to freeze to death.

And now you have technology which renders that skill..... redundant.

I never wear a watch.  I'm very good at estimating what time it is.  Yet if you asked me the time back when I used to have a timepiece on my wrist, I'd need to consult the instrument... even if I'd glanced at it just moments earlier.
