Go check out Zeitgeist with the ducati MOB. Even if you see other people there eating, do not eat the food. Unless it's a tamale from the tamale lady.

Make reservations (you *must* make reservations) at Bourbon and Branch. They will tell you the password to get in-do not forget the password or the little asian girl dressed as a 20s flapper won't let you in.

It's worth the effort.
Thanks - Bourbon and Branch is on my list (from my research today) Looking at the website, a speakeasy reproduction certainly looks interesting from a tourists perspective.

I can find you a guide if you need one.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Needle in SF add the place called San Tung (11th and Irving) to the itinerary. Get the dry rubbed chicken wings. They've been voted the best in the country.
Thanks...
Being a crazy Vegetarian rules out dry rubbed chicken wings for me  :(

Had not looked up where you live, and did not realise you were near SF.

Not near anymore.

I can ask the wife-she's vegan.

Got a phone call from an odd area code this afternoon.
I've been getting a lot of bullshit spam calls from a "free Google Listing" robot, different area code and phone number every time.
So I let it go to message, as I had my hands full at the time.
Didn't listen to it until a good bit later.

It was my pops, calling to say "We've moved to Florida."

A bit of a shock as he's lived in the same house here in SoCal since 1969.
Never said anything about moving, ever, and actually the opposite.... that he never wanted to move.
And this is the first I hear about it.

"Out of the Blue" doesn't even come close to describing this development.

SoCal to Florida without a chat first is certainly a WTF moment....
