Make reservations (you *must* make reservations) at Bourbon and Branch. They will tell you the password to get in-do not forget the password or the little asian girl dressed as a 20s flapper won't let you in.

It's worth the effort.

Needle in SF add the place called San Tung (11th and Irving) to the itinerary. Get the dry rubbed chicken wings. They've been voted the best in the country.

Got a phone call from an odd area code this afternoon.
I've been getting a lot of bullshit spam calls from a "free Google Listing" robot, different area code and phone number every time.
So I let it go to message, as I had my hands full at the time.
Didn't listen to it until a good bit later.

It was my pops, calling to say "We've moved to Florida."

A bit of a shock as he's lived in the same house here in SoCal since 1969.
Never said anything about moving, ever, and actually the opposite.... that he never wanted to move.
And this is the first I hear about it.

"Out of the Blue" doesn't even come close to describing this development.
