Ah, I guess I forgot to give an update.

His temporary employer (also my employer) matched the offers he had received so we decided to stay put for now.

The firm in Hooksett was not ready to hire at this point.  They said maybe in the future.

Nice.

B didn't sound all that excited about Hooksett anyway.

edit...

the next several days will approach our definition of brutally cold. Highs in the low teens with with lows in the low negative teens.

Wind chills in the negative 20's.

There's the 'Live, Freeze, then Die' part Dave.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

It's convenient and fun to play outside in the warm weather but our winter is making spring (or any time at the present moment) that much more likely of fires.  And water levels are way low.  But I'm still going to tool around on my bike as much as I can!

Freezing cold or wild fires.  Pick your poison.  ;) :P

In other news:  it's take your ankle biters on a work drive up into the mountains today.   They'll sleep the entire time.  No head out the window for them.

Stay warm friends!   [bacon] [coffee]

I'm glad you're in the new house, Nate. Part of me enjoyed that weather, but.....it's a lot of work.

It's a good thing it's a lot of work too...

because when all is said and done in an old drafty farmhouse...

you'll still freeze you ass off.

I could get used to this house. ;)

ditto on the new house  [thumbsup]

it is a lot of work keeping warm in a drafty house, and then there is snow removal. it can take hours to clean off the buried vehicles, shovel walkways, and plow the driveway.

I sent Nate a nice little hello from the beach and he called me a bastard  [laugh]
