MoreNing.
Bike hasn't been started in a few months, but I think I will be good with just new tires.
Another 70° + day on tap.

Right...might make the pedals tough.

Is yours a carby or injected?
Injected...
Not sure how well the choke works though...
How easy is your 996 to start?

That is the FS's reasoning.

Yours has a "fast idle" lever?
If battery is below 12.0V it wont start . . . If you have the voltage, check the side stand switch and clutch lever microswitch . . . after checking ALL the other regular suspects . . .

Usually starts right up as long as the battery is good. I use a tiny battery because the bike has no lights. The fast idle set-up is different on the SBK's.
I am glad it isn't a kicker though.

Thanks guys...
Is most likely flooded.
When it has difficulty starting, it is usually fine the next day (after battery is charged up after trying too many times)
No fast idle Carlos, just a normal manual choke as far as I can tell..
Servo motor was kicking over, would just not fire.

The FI bikes have a fast idle, not a choke.

If it were left to a medic - especially those with the girl scout green berets (like Kopf's
) - a little 100 mph tape and I'm golden.
It's these people that spend half their lives in school that think they know everything.
