I've always been attracted to excess  ;D   I wanted a Honda CBX back in the day...

I could find a use for a highway eating touring machine...

Bike reviews are great.

Personally the service costs/intervals on the BMW (locally anyway) are much less.

Did that damn UPS delivery arrive yet? :-\

Good friend...longtime BMW aficionado...brought his K 1300 in for it's first service at about 3K miles. It also needed a rear tire.

The quote for the repairs was in the area of $2K+. He went out to the showroom and traded it even for a used R90 that was on the floor. Figured he made out.

Yesterday around 2...I'm headed out now. UPS making me work Saturday... :P

I started thinking about R1200GS machines.... but I really cant see me riding such a beast on dirt roads....  and I've never... ever considered any kinda road touring machine....
